Captain's Log

19:03

Left Rebecca Spit late morning. Multiple whales as we were entering the passages. Lots of logs in the water due to the high tides. Lost a fishing tackle, shame, it was my old skinny g. Hit Beasley passage for 1:50pm slack and anchored in Whyatt Bay. Lots of boats here, most we have seen.

The Numbers

Rebecca Spit to Waiatt Bay, 15.9 miles with a mix of sail and auxiliary power through the passages. A light northwesterly built through the morning, reaching 15-16 knots as we transited Beazley Passage for the 13:50 slack. Multiple whales sighted entering the passages. High tides left the water thick with floating logs the whole way.
