Left Nanaimo at 6am and motored round the south side of Newcastle Island into a light breeze.
Managed to put the sails up as we entered the Strait and Whisky Golf was not active so we were able to make some longer tacks into 12-15 knots of northerly winds.
By myself for the first few hours as the rest of the crew were sleeping and enjoyed a lovely brisk sail up towards Lasqueti.
Managed to get a decent lift on the south side of Lasqueti Island and then same again on the Vancouver Island side which helped push us up towards Tribune Bay.
Arrived in Tribune Bay around 4pm and was great to see some familiar boats and friends.
